FAQ
How much are puppies?
Puppy prices range from $1,800 to $2,900 depending on color and/or markings. A deposit of $500 is required once we have confirmed we have a puppy available for you. The remainder is due at pick-up.
Will my puppy have its vaccinations and a vet check before pick-up?
Yes! Your puppy will have its first set of vaccines at 7-8 weeks old. That includes Distemper/Parvo and Bordetella. Your puppy will also have had at least three dewormings and a fecal test. Every puppy has a health check by our veterinarian, along with vaccines and the fecal.
What will be sent home with my puppy?
You will receive a puppy kit at pick-up that includes a few days of food, toys, a slip lead, puppy instruction book, blanket and more! Your puppy will have an AKC registration form, 30 days of pet insurance from AKC and 1 year of Accident Coverage from Pets Best Insurance.
How are your puppies raised and what socialization do they have?
Our puppies are raised in our home with 24/7 supervision from the moment they are born. They receive early neurologic stimulation along with playtime on puppy agility equipment that includes a teeter totter, suspension bridge, balance ball, tunnel and more. Every puppy activity we expose our puppies to is to build confidence and good recovery from any fear.
Will I be able to pick my puppy?
Yes and no. We will work with you to match you with a puppy that fits your preferences but not every puppy is the right fit for every family. We do our best to match color and sex preference. You will never be pressured to take a puppy that doesn't match what you are looking for.
Can I visit the puppies?
Yes! We allow visitors once the puppies are 6 weeks old. Prior to that age, we provide lots of videos and pictures of the litter and when possible a real-time puppy camera once the puppies are 2 weeks old. We also post lots of updates on our facebook page.
How do I get on the waiting list?
Easy! Fill out a puppy application and we will be in touch. Once you are approved for a puppy, you will be added to the waiting list.
What health testing do you do?
We test all of our dogs for their DM and ARVC1 genetic markers. They also have an echocardiogram by a cardiologist and a 24 hour heart holter test regularly. Our dogs also have thyroid testing.
Will my puppy have its tail docked and dewclaws removed?
Yes, the puppies tails are docked and dewclaws are removed when they are 2-3 days old.
Will I be able to breed the puppy I buy?
All companion (pet) puppies are sold on a limited registration with a spay/neuter contract. If you are looking for a dog for breeding, we have a separate contract with requirements for showing, ear cropping and health testing.
Do I have to crop my puppy's ears?
Absolutely not. We recommend leaving your puppy's ears natural unless you have experience with cropped ears, strongly desire the look of cropped ears or are buying a show puppy.
Can my puppy be shipped?
We can arrange courier transport or a flight nanny for your puppy if needed. We prefer an in person pick-up if possible. Our puppies are small enough to fly in cabin with you when they are 8 weeks old.
